Definition: Self-hypnosis
Self-hypnosis aims to help a person to better recognize his/her natural ability to resolve personal problems. Thanks to self-hypnosis, the patient can combat eating disorders, phobias, depression, etc….
Hypnosis entails concentrating on one’s body, stimulating unconscious resources and positive visualization. This process leads to learning new attitudes and behavior, a greater capacity to choose, to decide, to act and achieving a better balance between consciousness and the unconscious.
The effectiveness of hypnosis rests on the well-known fact that when our unconscious accepts an idea, it immediately starts to put it into practice.
